Edgewood Preserve Plant Habitat Restoration Project and Picnic
Since 2015 we’ve joined forces with BayLands FrontRunners twice yearly to protect our environment through clean-up and restoration projects. Our spring projects, in honor of Earth Day, are coordinated with Grassroots Ecology, whose purpose is to leverage “the power of community volunteers to create healthy ecosystems across Silicon Valley, from the foothills to San Francisco Bay.”
Our 2018 spring project at Edgewood Park and Preserve in Redwood City will be on Saturday, April 21, 2018, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a first-class pot-luck picnic following. We’re looking for about 15 volunteers to join in for an afternoon of work, fellowship, and a whole lot of fun. More details will be announced closer to the date.
Look for the sign-up sheet in Peabody Hall starting in early April and see Peter Sass for more details.
