Annual Ladera LGBTQ+ Pride Parade and Celebration

Join neighbors and friends for the 5th Annual Ladera LGBTQ+ Pride parade and celebration starting from the T-intersection of La Mesa Drive and La Cuesta Drive at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26th.

Ladera’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team is planning another family-friendly celebration after the parade with music, food, costumes, Pride swag, a photo booth, and great fun, held on our patio from 11:30 to 1:30 or so.

An invitation to volunteers: contact Peter Sass if you would like to march in the parade or help with the post-parade celebration. We’ll have an LCC information table and will be providing pizza and ice cream favors, a photo booth, and activities for families and kids.  You can volunteer for one or more of the following:

• Help organize LCC’s presence in the parade
• Set up tables and umbrellas on the patio
• Host the LCC information table
• Order pizza and purchase ice cream favors. (You’ll be reimbursed from the Fellowship budget.)
• Help in the kitchen and serve pizza and ice cream
• Clear the patio and put tables away and help clean up, post-event
