Ecumenical Hunger Program (EHP) Adopt-a-Family

This holiday season Ladera Community Church is sponsoring one family through East Palo Alto’s Ecumenical Hunger Family Share Program. The Bay Area has one of the highest costs of living in the nation and coupled with inflation, EHP families are struggling and facing a bleak holiday season. Every family deserves hope and joy this holiday season, and together, we can help make that happen. Our church has a long standing tradition of supporting families in need at the holidays and your generous support again this year is greatly appreciated.

This year, we will try out a virtual “giving tree” option. If you are short on time to shop for specific items requested, you may make a financial donation here. Gift cards for stores such as Target, Safeway, Walmart, Trader Joes, Grocery Outlet, and Costco may also be dropped off at the church office. Look for the gift wrapped donation box in the office.

The deadline for delivering physical gifts and gift cards is Thursday, December 18th. The deadline for online monetary donations is Monday, December 22nd. Please contact Susan Nicholls with any questions.
