Migration Sunday: The Stories

Early in the new year, Pastor Evelyn will share insights from Scripture on how God wants us to treat the stranger, telling us “You shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.” (Deuteronomy 10:19).
We all have known what it is like to be a stranger in a new land. Several of our congregation members will share their family migration stories and we will hear the 1899 account of a Jewish child’s immigration to the United States.
