SUMMARY:Special Earth Day Worship Service
DESCRIPTION:What Would Jesus Say? Or Did Say? \nEarth Sunday or Earth Week should be every day\, so we are celebrating our connection to the Earth on Sunday\, May 4th. Was Jesus ahead of his time?  You bet! Let’s explore some of the messages Jesus gives in light of our 21st century dilemma of climate change. There are intriguing ideas and guidance if we just look at some of the parables with our 21st century lenses. Come on May 4th and put on new glasses to view our world. \nSubmitted by Green Team \nWorship is the heart of our community life. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and online via Zoom and Facebook. All ages are invited. LCC worship is a joyful celebration of God’s presence among us. We find inspiration\, renewal\, and refreshment through song and silence\, prayer\, and reflection. We seek to integrate the arts – music\, drama\, and visual – to enrich the worship experience. Worship continues in the many ways we seek\, serve\, and grow in the world. \n\nWe serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to the table!
