DESCRIPTION:Worship is the heart of our community life. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and online via Zoom. All ages are invited. LCC worship is a joyful celebration of God’s presence among us. We find inspiration\, renewal\, and refreshment through song and silence\, prayer\, and reflection. We seek to integrate the arts – music\, drama\, and visual – to enrich the worship experience. Worship continues in the many ways we seek\, serve\, and grow in the world. \n\nWe serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. DESCRIPTION:Join Reverend Evelyn and members of our congregation on Sunday\, February 22 for a performance of No llegamos aquí solos by Yosimar Reyes\, Santa Clara County Poet Laureate\, directed by Rodrigo García\, with original music by Iván Flores of Discos Resaca. \nThis world premiere of the new play was created in collaboration with community members in East San José. The play follows Ignacio\, who interrupts his Mamá Doña’s 85th birthday to organize his neighbors in preparation for an ICE raid and learns a profound lesson about caring for community. \nRooted in stories from East San José\, this production blends poetry and community-based theater. SUMMARY:Stanford Quads
DESCRIPTION:Modern square dancing is a recreation enjoyed by people of all ages in the United States and around the world.  We dance the Plus program utilizing All Position Dancing.  We often have an A2 or C1 star tip at the end of the evening.  All Plus dancers are welcome to join us for an evening of dancing.  Square dance attire is not needed.  Masks are optional. \n\nThe weekly schedule is:\n       Review: 6:00-6:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Class: 6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Plus: 8:30-9:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Star tips: 9:00-9:30 pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe cost is $10 per session.  We start a beginner’s class every fall in October.
