DESCRIPTION:Following our first Lenten Soup Supper\, we will gather for the Ash Wednesday worship service. A short homily will be shared\, and ashes will be imposed upon our foreheads as God’s mark upon His penitent people. The imposition of ashes is a powerful reminder of our utter dependence on God and a symbol of our participation in His call to repentance and reconciliation.
