DESCRIPTION:Modern Western Square Dancing is a recreation enjoyed by people of all ages in the United States and around the world.  We dance the Plus program utilizing All Position Dancing.  We often have an A2 or C1 star tip at the end of the evening.  All Plus dancers are welcome to join us for an evening of dancing.  Dress is casual. \n\nThe weekly schedule is:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Plus: 6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Star Tips: 8:30-9:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe cost is $10 per session.  We will start our next beginner’s class on September 20\, 2026.

DESCRIPTION:This year Graduation Sunday will take place on June 28. Do you have someone in your life who is graduating (kindergarten\, middle school\, high school\, college\, grad school\, etc.)? Send an email to amy@ladera.org by June 12 with the following information: \n\nthe student’s name\nname of the school the graduate is graduating from and going to next/after-school plans\nadult’s names and the graduate’s relationship to you (e.g. child of parent’s names\, grandchild of grandparent’s names…)\nphoto of the graduate\nAny additional information you’d like to include\n\nWorship is the heart of our community life. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and online via Zoom and Facebook. All ages are invited. LCC worship is a joyful celebration of God’s presence among us. We find inspiration\, renewal\, and refreshment through song and silence\, prayer\, and reflection. We seek to integrate the arts – music\, drama\, and visual – to enrich the worship experience. Worship continues in the many ways we seek\, serve\, and grow in the world. \n\nWe serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to the table!\nOn the second Sunday of each month\, Pastor Jeff has a conversation with someone from our community about their life and faith journey.

DESCRIPTION:Modern Western Square Dancing is a recreation enjoyed by people of all ages in the United States and around the world.  We dance the Plus program utilizing All Position Dancing.  We often have an A2 or C1 star tip at the end of the evening.  All Plus dancers are welcome to join us for an evening of dancing.  Dress is casual. \n\nThe weekly schedule is:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Plus: 6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Star Tips: 8:30-9:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe cost is $10 per session.  We will start our next beginner’s class on September 20\, 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for “Reflections for These Times\,” a nurturing space for connection and stillness. Each session opens with a Tai Chi prayer\, followed by time to check in\, lighting a candle for our shared concerns and hopes\, and silent meditation. We close in peaceful silence. \nAfter these 30 minutes of connection and quiet\, we will enjoy snacks and conversation in the fellowship hall.  This program will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month—join us whenever you need grounding and community.
