DESCRIPTION:Skylake Yosemite Family Camp is a fun family “glamping” experience! Skylake provides each family with a rustic bunk house\, fabulous buffet-style meals\, a private dock on Bass Lake\, and plenty of activities\, including horseback riding and tie-dye\, to keep the whole family busy. The large dining hall\, lakeside porch\, and recreation room are the social center of camp. \nLadera Church families have attended Family Camp Weekend B for years\, and some attend now with multiple generations. Weekend B begins the Thursday evening after the Memorial Day holiday. Talk to any family that goes to Bass Lake and they’ll tell you why you should come next year! We seek to integrate the arts – music\, drama\, and visual – to enrich the worship experience. Worship continues in the many ways we seek\, serve\, and grow in the world. \n\nWe serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to the table!\nOn the second Sunday of each month\, Pastor Jeff has a conversation with someone from our community about their life and faith journey.

DESCRIPTION:Worship is the heart of our community life. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and online via Zoom and Facebook. All ages are invited. LCC worship is a joyful celebration of God’s presence among us. We find inspiration\, renewal\, and refreshment through song and silence\, prayer\, and reflection. We seek to integrate the arts – music\, drama\, and visual – to enrich the worship experience. Worship continues in the many ways we seek\, serve\, and grow in the world. \n\nWe serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to the table!\nOn the second Sunday of each month\, Pastor Jeff has a conversation with someone from our community about their life and faith journey.

SUMMARY:Church World Service Blanket Drive
DESCRIPTION:Our annual collection for Church World Service is Sunday\, May 14th.  CWS is there in times of need with blankets and hygiene kits\, whether it is during a disaster or a daily need for the homeless. When migrants were bussed to Washington D.C. from the southern border\, CWS was there with toiletry kits and more.  When Jackson\, MI was hit by flooding\, CWS was there with school backpacks\, hygiene kits and cleanup buckets. Let’s support their efforts with our funds! Either drop a check in the collection plate made out to LCC with CWS in the memo line\, send a check to church\, or give online at ladera.org.
