DESCRIPTION:Modern Western Square Dancing is a recreation enjoyed by people of all ages in the United States and around the world.  We dance the Plus program utilizing All Position Dancing.  We often have an A2 or C1 star tip at the end of the evening.  All Plus dancers are welcome to join us for an evening of dancing.  Dress is casual. \n\nThe weekly schedule is:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Plus: 6:30-8:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n       Star Tips: 8:30-9:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe cost is $10 per session.  We will start our next beginner’s class on September 20\, 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for “Reflections for These Times\,” a nurturing space for connection and stillness. Each session opens with a Tai Chi prayer\, followed by time to check in\, lighting a candle for our shared concerns and hopes\, and silent meditation. We close in peaceful silence. \nAfter these 30 minutes of connection and quiet\, we will enjoy snacks and conversation in the fellowship hall.  This program will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month—join us whenever you need grounding and community.

DESCRIPTION:LCC has a long-standing connection with LifeMoves\, especially through its monthly lunch service at the Redwood City Navigation Center. Each monthly visit is a chance to share food\, fellowship\, and compassion with those navigating challenging transitions. We’re assembling a team of 6-10 people to prepare and serve lunch at the new center\, which boasts a full commercial kitchen. We’ll meet at the Navigation Center at 11:30 a.m. You will find this hands-on activity rewarding!
