DESCRIPTION:Over the last few years\, the church has heard how we could use the undeveloped parcel behind the sanctuary for affordable housing. We will soon vote on a resolution to authorize negotiations with Habitat for Humanity on a long-term lease that would enable Habitat to build affordable housing on at least part of this parcel. However\, we haven’t had many recent opportunities to talk about other possible uses of the undeveloped parcel. With making any decision\, it’s important to consider options\, alternatives\, and a variety of points of view in order to make the best decision. This Second Hour meeting provides an opportunity to consider other perspectives and possible uses of the parcel in addition to or instead of a long-term lease to Habitat. We will hear from Barbara Oliver\, Deb Smith\, Kathan Vollrath\, Kyle Barriger\, Sue Bartalo and others. DESCRIPTION:Modern square dancing is a recreation enjoyed by people of all ages in the United States and around the world.  We dance the Plus program utilizing All Position Dancing.  We often have an A2 or C1 star tip at the end of the evening.  All Plus dancers are welcome to join us for an evening of dancing.  Square dance attire is not needed.  Masks are optional.\n\nThe cost is $10 per session.\n\nWe start a beginner’s class every fall in October.

Each year around late September\, near the birth of Francis of Assisi\, the “patron saint of animals”\, we hold a special ‘Blessing of the Animals’ outdoor service in the early afternoon in our labyrinth & meditation garden to honor and ‘bless’ these special family members\, with prayers for the good health of our our pets and their owners.

DESCRIPTION:Worship is the heart of our community life. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and online via Zoom and Facebook. All ages are invited. LCC worship is a joyful celebration of God’s presence among us. We find inspiration\, renewal\, and refreshment through song and silence\, prayer\, and reflection. We seek to integrate the arts – music\, drama\, and visual – to enrich the worship experience. Worship continues in the many ways we seek\, serve\, and grow in the world. \n\nWe serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to the table!\nOn the second Sunday of each month\, Pastor Jeff has a conversation with someone from our community about their life and faith journey.
